## **ORDERING QUESTIONS**
DO YOU CHARGE TAXES?
Yes, we charge tax in the following states: CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, SC, UT, VA and WI. If you live in one of the aforementioned states and are tax-exempt, you have two options to complete your transaction. You can either [submit](http://www.breakoutedu.com/submitpo) your PO with your tax-exempt certificate or you can request a tax-exempt invoice by selecting the desired option from our pricing page [http://www.breakoutedu.com/](http://www.breakoutedu.com/quote)pricing and accepting the quote with the Credit Card option. We do not charge sales tax on behalf of any other state. These states change from time to time, so please be sure to check your cart before proceeding with the purchase, as tax cannot be refunded.

WHEN WILL I GET MY ORDER?
We are currently shipping kits within one week of their order date. They ship from our warehouse and will arrive as quickly as possible. Most orders are received within five to seven business days of shipment.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We do! Thanks for your interest in bringing Breakout EDU to your country. Since shipping rates are variable based on the quantity and size of each shipment, please **[fill out a quote](http://www.breakoutedu.com/purchaseorder)** and we can generate a custom invoice to meet your needs.
All international orders must be paid in full prior to shipment.
All international orders are subject to any local customs/duties dictated by the recipient's country.

IS THERE A FREE BREAKOUT EDU ACCOUNT?
No, there is no such thing as a free Breakout EDU account that provides full platform access. You can try Breakout EDU for free with our 14 day free trial. After your trial period, a digital subscription is needed to continue full access. WHAT IS FULL PLATFORM ACCESS?
Full Platform Access provides users with access to our growing library of games, manage classrooms, create digital games and more!

WHAT IS A BREAKOUT EDU CLASSROOM?
Full platform users can create and manage groups of their students in classrooms. This provides students with access to the **[student platform](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/220561415/The+Student+Experience)** where they can access assigned games, Lock of the Day, Breakout+, **[Learn & Play](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/178159617/Learn+%26+Play+Game+Design+Courses)** modules, the **[Game Design Studio](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/189366273/Create+a+Game+in+Game+Design+Studio)****, **and **[Challenges & Rewards](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/263389197/Student+Challenges+and+Rewards)**. The “**[My Classes](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/300023817/How+To+Track+Student+Progress+in+Breakout+EDU)**” dashboard allows for tracking of progress, awarding badges and approval of student-created digital games. HOW DO I SHARE A BREAKOUT EDU DIGITAL GAMES WITH STUDENTS?
The best way to share Breakout EDU digital games with students is through the assignment feature. This feature allows for games to be assigned to a whole class or to individual students. It also allows for assignments to be scheduled into the future. Find out more about assigning games **[here](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/130252811/Assigning+Games+to+Students)**.
HOW DO STUDENTS ACCESS THE BREAKOUT EDU STUDENT PLATFORM?
There are several options for students to create accounts that access the student platform. Teachers can **[import student rosters](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/209289217/Rostering+Students+Using+Classlink+or+Google+Classroom)** directly from Schoology, Classlink, or Google Classroom. This option automatically creates the student account and students simply sign in with Schoology, Classlink, or Google.
Students can also use Schoology, Classlink or Google SSO to sign up for an account. Teachers would **[create a class](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/147456062/Create+a+Class)** and provide students with the class code which they would use when signing up.
Lastly, students can create their own username and password to access the student portal once given a class code by the teacher.

HOW DO I SET / RESET THE LOCKS?

DO YOU HAVE ANY WARRANTY?

DO I NEED DIFFERENT KITS FOR DIFFERENT GAMES?
Nope. All Breakout EDU games are designed with the Breakout EDU kit in mind. The locks and other kit items are designed to be reset in order to play all the games on the Breakout EDU Platform.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN EACH BREAKOUT EDU KIT?
Each kit comes with a large Breakout EDU box, a smaller lockable box, a blue hasp, a key lock, an Alphabet Multilock, a Directional Multilock, Color Mulitlock Wheels, Shape Multilock Wheels, Number Multilock Wheels, a red lens viewer, a deck of 4C Cards, a 4-digit lock, a 3-digit lock, a UV flashlight, 2 Hint Cards, Breakout Cipher Disc (with 10 rings), 6 dice, and an invisible ink pen. ## **BREAKOUT EDU GAMES QUESTIONS**
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF BREAKOUT EDU GAMES?
There are currently over 2500 games available on the Breakout EDU platform with plenty of options for everyone! The first is ***[Lock of the Day](https://help.breakoutedu.com/page/lotd)***; a single-lock puzzle that challenges students to get their minds geared up and promote critical thinking each week day. Second, are the ***[Breakout EDU Digital Games](https://help.breakoutedu.com/page/digital-games)***. As many of them are content-aligned, Breakout EDU Games challenge students with multiple digital puzzles and are best worked on in small groups. These games can be copied, edited and assigned directly to students. A variation of the Breakout EDU Digital Game are the ***[Carousel Games](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/263749690/Carousel+Games)***. These are multi-lock experiences in which the clues are not associated with a specific lock. Students are challenged to figure out which clue(s) to use for each lock as they work through the game. ***[Lesson Content Games](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/646742019/Lesson+Content+Games)****** ***are multi-lock digital games for K-5 that are standards aligned and include a short video lesson followed by a digital game to practice and assess understanding.
***[Breakout+ Games](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/242745349/Breakout+%2B)*** are a completely different experience. These point-and-click adventure games have students navigating an environment, collecting artifacts, and using them to complete challenges. Lastly are the ***[Breakout EDU Kit-Based Games](https://help.breakoutedu.com/page/kit)***. These games utilize the Breakout EDU kit and transform any physical space into an interactive learning environment.
WHAT AGES ARE THE GAMES FOR?
There are Breakout EDU games for players in all grade levels through adulthood. Also included with the subscription is the ability to leverage the game design templates to create your own.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY WITH A SINGLE KIT?
Most Breakout EDU kit-based games are best played with 4-6 players. Many teachers use two kits and set up the game on different sides of the room to play with a whole class. We believe that small group experiences where each player gets to interact and make attempts to open the locks are what makes Breakout EDU such a powerful experience.
HOW DO I GET ACCESS TO THE GAMES?
Access to the collection of Breakout EDU games requires a **[subscription to the Breakout EDU Platform](https://store.breakoutedu.com/)**. Access is included with the purchase of your first Breakout EDU kit or through our school/district licensing.
HOW DO I CREATE A BREAKOUT EDU DIGITAL GAME?

CAN STUDENTS CREATE BREAKOUT EDU DIGITAL GAMES?
