Breakout EDU classes allow you to assign digital games to your students, view game results and set access permissions for certain features. Students will need to be enrolled into a Breakout EDU class to complete assigned games, Lock of the Day streaks, play Breakout+, use the Game Design Studio and earn rewards.  

Teachers can create classes and have students enroll using the class code OR they can import rosters to create the class.

**IMPORTANT NOTE**: When importing rosters from Classlink, Schoology or Google Classroom, you will not need to provide students with the class code. Students will be automatically added to the system. Providing them with a class code could lead to students having multiple accounts. 

### Step 1: Click “My Classes”

### Step 2: Select “Create a Class” 

If you do not yet have any classes, click “Create a Class”. If you do have classes already, click “Add a Class”, then “Create a Class”

### Step 3: Provide Class Information

1. Class Name
2. Grade Level (Optional)
3. Class End Date (Optional)
4. Automatically Archive on End Date (Optional)
5. Create Class

### Step 4: Roster your students by giving them the class code and directing them to student.breakoutedu.com

You can download and share sign up instructions with your students. Instructions can be found in the Class Dashboard.  You can also view and download them [HERE](https://help.breakoutedu.com/space/BCSM/357597194/Student+Sign-Up+and+Log+In).

Students who already have accounts can join your class by entering the class code in the “Join a Class” section of their home page.
